Tender Mercies of the Lord

My companion and I were having so problems. God however was on our side. Both of our sides and when I humbled myself and studied that morning for my companion; I was able to answer her prayer and she mine. I read the words in DC and applied them to me:
 DC6:18

"therefore be diligent; stand by my servant sister mapa faithfully, in whatsoever difficult circumstances she may be in for the word's sake. admonish her in her faults, and also receive admonition of her. Be patient, be sober, be temperate; have patience, faith, hope, and charity. Behold, thou art Kaitlin and I have spoken unto thee because of thy desires; therefore treasure up these words in thy heart. Be faithful and diligent in keeping the mission rules of god, and I will encircle thee in the arms of my love."

we meet a woman on Saturday that is living with a member. we invited her to the primary program (sally is her name) and she’s coming to a relief society activity this week. we ran into her today at Michaels said hi and we asked if we could come over this weekend to share a spiritual message with her. she said yes :) she is in need of hope. lots has happened in her life and I am excited to help show her Christ has the way out and the way up as elder Holland once said.

a former investigator came to church Sunday. a member who was giving a talk invited her and Margo stayed for 3 hours. she's had all the lessons but she shied away a few months ago. we asked if we could come by and help her build her faith and she said yes.

scarlet half dropped us. she texted us saying she's going through family difficulties and can’t meet with us. we were planning on going over with sis moffat that day. we went anyway and gave her the living Christ and the family : a proclamation. she started crying as we handed it to her. we bore our testimony of the documents and sister Moffat spoke eloquent inspired words. we will be checking up with her this week. but it went well so show scarlet we cared (she committed herself to read the proclamations). I was scared it wouldn't turn out well, but that’s when I make sure I don't avoid situations due to fear. it exercises faith. and miracles follow.

we had a great spur of the moment visit with a less active family and we went there because of the prompting and of the 5 family members the 2 in-actives were the only ones home. it was a miracle.

running out of time.

this work is propelled by faith and directed by god.

God we be in our lives as much as we let him. It's like he says, draw near unto me and I will draw near unto you.

it happened to me this week. it can happen to you.

-much love,

sister snow
