Great things are to come!

This week we have seen great things with David. We fasted for him on Tuesday and his day went really well, he has been noticing the spirit communicate to him more in his life. As I was pondering what to do to help him (as the days before and after baptism Satan works hard) god inspired my mind with this plan of action: to have members of the ward fast for him each day up to his baptism date. We told brother abbot who thought it was a great idea and being the amazing ward mission leader he is ran it by the bishop and then made assignments. He couldn't find anyone for the following day Wednesday) and we knew it wasn't a good idea to fast two days in a row, so no one fasted for him Wednesday. he came to the lesson irritated and he had had a hard day, it was harder to feel the spirit. we have been teaching him many of the commandments and he's understood them well. after the lesson though we knew something was off. we didn’t know where his personal conversion was. we hadn’t emphasized enough Jesus Christ or asked the right questions that would help us discern where he was at. we met him at the park the next day to check in her voiced some concerns and then we had a great discussion about forgiveness and repentance. he expressed his desires to be baptized and his testimony. he really is prepared. Satan has been working on him but he is determined. we told him to go one day at a time making good choices ( he was worried about maybe going on a mission...). he found an old cigar in his car, he stomped on it and kicked it under his car. he shared experiences about how he randomly being nice and considerate with people. HE IS GETTING BAPTIZED SATURDAY! The fasting and prayers of the members truly have helped.

He passed his interview and there is a great spirit about David. it has been a privileged to teach him. We are using the book of Mormon more. Saturday was a hard day of proselyting because with all the lesson recently I felt out of practice, but Sunday was a new day and it went really well. I learned a lot in zone conference and I am ever reminded to be humble which is so important in the lord’s work.

we met a woman named Tara and she was very open. we went back and her husband answered who seems a little antagonistic. Tina has a baptismal date for April 19th but that will have to change because of a MISSION conference. ELDER NEILSON WILL BE SPEAKING TO US ON APRIL 19th! Just our mission, I am excited and Obviously excited for general conference. Tina didn’t come to church because her brother had some medical problems and she has been taking care of him. we have a lesson with her tomorrow and will follow up on her reading.

the ysa elders passed on a man named waldo (a brother of a referral we gave them) he came to church and we have a lesson this evening. it will be on finishing the plan of salvation. We were looking looking for him at church yesterday and he came in late, as we were waiting my companion turned to me and said, "where's Waldo?" he came. we sat by him. he is great.

the church is true Christ is willing and quick to forgive, look up and read "Set a Date" by elder Ballard. read it and follow it's counsel!

love, sis snow
