Hello San Lous Obispo

San Lous is a college town. It's very diverse, with rich and poor and in between. There is a cool old down town quarter that is in the other ward boundaries the san lous mission (catholic church) is also there! I can't wait to visit it. My companion is sis guthrie she’s 6'3'' it’s weird being short but I’m adjusting.

It has rained like CRAZY this week. we were soaked. it was actually pretty fun. we had fasted for rain the month before and boy did the lord answer the prayers of his saints!! it is hilly and now will be green. I met so many of the members Sunday I'm surprised all their names still fit in my head! but that is part of the miracles and grace the lord gives you. it’s also very hilly and weird streets but I’ve been able to find my way around.

sorry this is so short but know that I love you, but more importantly your savior and father in heaven love you. john 17:17, 19

I stand all amazed at the love Jesus offers me
confused at the grace that so fully he profits me
I tremble to know that for me he was crucified.
that for me a sinner he suffered he bled and died.
oh it is wonderful that he should care for me enough to die for me
oh it is wonderful wonderful to me.
I marvel that he would descend from his throne devine,
to rescue a soul so rebellious and proud as mine
the he should extend his great love unto such as I
SUFFICENT
to own,
to redeem
and to justify
